Hey guys, I’m happy to announce that I have a new Sci-Fi romance novel on Amazon. It’s called Silver and it’s free with Kindle Unlimited. Silver is a steamy story that is literally out of this world. I could talk all day about the main characters. But, what fun would that be? Instead, I’ll let you hear it from them with a quick game of ‘This or That?’ (P.S. I am not responsible for their responses.)
~Coffee or Tea?~
Malia: Coffee. I have to drink a cup a day or I’ll go crazy.
Silver: I have never tasted tea. However, I do know what coffee is. My mate introduced me to it. I like it. It makes me feel… awake.
Malia: That’s the power of coffee.
~Dancing With The Stars or The Walking Dead?~
Silver: What is that?
Malia: They are television shows that we stream from our sister planet. I’m more of a Dancing With The Stars person. I think you’d prefer The Walking Dead.
Silver: Stars do not dance.
Malia: Not actual stars, celebrities. You would like The Walking Dead more, trust me.
Silver: Why would the dead walk?
Malia: I think it’s a virus. It brings them back to life. But you get to kill them again.
Silver: Oh, well yes, I would like that part.
~Rough or Gentle.~
Silver: Rough or gentle what?
Malia: I think she’s talking about our ‘in the bedroom’ preferences.
Silver: Oh, rough. Definitely rough. My mate feels the same way.
Malia: Let me answer for myself.
Silver: Okay, answer.
Malia: Rough, but not because he says so. It’s because that’s just what I like.
Silver: And that’s exactly how I give it to you.
Malia: Geez Silver, not in public.
~And there you have it, a little insight into the life of Silver and Malia. Learn more about how they came to be by reading SILVER, a Sci-fi romance.~
All Malia Valdese wants to do is survive in the Outlands and serve food to the patrons of her diner. She doesn’t want anything to do with the handsome silver-eyed stranger who keeps showing up after closing, asking her weird questions and making her feel something she hasn’t felt in years, desire.
She doesn’t care that he’s the sexiest male she’s ever seen or that he stares at her like she’s the main course. Steering clear of him is her plan. Well, it was the plan, before he turned her world upside down with four words…. You’re coming with me.
Apparently she has no say in the matter.
She’s not on the menu. But she’s what he hungers for.
Her scent tells him she’s his and the wanted pictures popping up all over the dark-net tells him he needs to lay low for a while. Having her next to him in bed while he tries to clear his name is the plan. Unfortunately, his enemies are closer than he thought and now they’ve found his weakness…. her. Can he shield his mate from the consequences of his dark past? Or will she flee to his enemies to escape him and the intense emotions he stirs inside of her?
No matter what she chooses, he has no intention of letting her go, ever.
She couldn’t turn this crew in. She couldn’t steal information from them. She didn’t care that they were wanted by Galaxy Patrol. Everyone made mistakes. But the members of the Striker seemed like truly genuine people.
“Malia are you okay?” Beta asked her. “Are you crying? Shit. Captain is going to have a fit.”
“No, he won’t.” Malia wiped her eyes. “I just, the hug was uh, unexpected.”
“Shocked the hell out of me too,” Gamma told her. “The kid likes you. That’s good. So why are you crying?”
They really knew nothing about females. “Sometimes females cry for no reason,” she told them. They both looked at her like she’d lost her mind.
“Why?” Gamma asked.
“That’s just how we are.”
“But,” he stared at Beta then back at her. “We don’t like to see you cry. I don’t want my mate to cry, ever.”
“She will, at some point. And the tears may be happy tears like mine are. We just do that.”
“I don’t get it,” Gamma shook his head.
“My mate will not cry,” Beta announced.
“I bet you she will,” Malia joked.
“I’ll take that bet.” He said. “Watch. My mate will be a warrior.”
Gamma laughed. “His mate is going to run the moment she lays eyes on him.”
Malia smiled as she watched them joke with each other. Hardened criminals? No, they couldn’t be. Malia covered her mouth as she yawned.
“No more crying, Malia,” Gamma told her. “We don’t like it. And Silver will hate it.”
“Silver can’t control my tears.”
“True, but he won’t give you a reason to cry in the first place. That male is crazy about you. Every decision he makes revolves around you and how it will affect you. Trust me, you won’t have to cry at all being his mate. I’m going to be just as protective of mine when I get one.”
Stars, Gamma’s words only made her want to bawl more.
“Can I have my mate back?”
Malia stared at the doorway. There stood Silver, smiling at her. She had no idea what made her do what she did next. One moment she was seated at the table. The next she was in his arms, with her arms wrapped around his neck holding him close.
“Missed me?” He whispered in her ear.
Yeah, she had missed him. But the hug meant so much more than that. It meant she wasn’t letting him go. She wasn’t leaving him. This would be her new home, with him, with this crew. Fate had never steered her wrong before.
“I missed you a little,” she whispered back, burying her face in his neck, embarrassed by her actions.
She yelped when he scooped her up in his arms.
“One of you lazy asses man the ship. It’s time for me to take my mate to bed.”
“Silver,” she exclaimed, cheeks heating, embarrassment growing.
As he stomped from the kitchen she heard Beta say to Gamma. “Don’t worry buddy, that’ll be us one day.”
Hardened criminals didn’t long for mates. Her crew were the good guys. She didn’t care what they’d done in the past.
Hi, my name is Siren Allen. I’m a writer and lover of all things supernatural and romantic. I reside in southern Mississippi where I write steamy romances that are guaranteed to make you blush. When I’m not listening to the characters in my head and jotting down their adventures, I am busy working as a Clinical Laboratory Technician.
I love to travel, preferably with my husband, so he can do all of the driving. I enjoy time with my family, who are just as silly as I am. My hobbies are reading, writing and shopping, though I hate trying on clothing. If I wasn’t a writer or a Laboratory Professional, I would probably be a Secret Agent. But that’s the beauty of being a writer; you can create your own world and be whoever you want to be. In my imaginary world, I am Queen and my siblings are my minions.
